David Keenum began playing trombone in the fifth grade. In the ninth grade he heard Procol Harum’s Whiter Shade of Pale and that changed everything. From then on he wanted to be a keyboard player as well.

He has spent his career in music education, receiving a Masters from Auburn University. At the same time he played keyboards in a number of groups. He also owned and operated a studio for about 10 years -- engineering, programming, producing and playing on a number of CD projects.

A few years ago he closed his studio to concentrate on his own music. Since then he has had a number of commercial projects. The oddest and most interesting was composing and recording theme music for a “Bones Exhibit” at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.
